Our Client is currently looking for a hard working, well motivated qualified social worker to join their generic Children and families team.

Our clients have raised their standards of are in the past few months and are aiming even higher to do this our clients realised they need top quality hard working members of staff. You will be working in a multi disciplinary department containing both QSW and Support Workers, therapists and councillors in order to provide a full and high quality all round support for service users.

You will be required to provide the necessary support ad advice to children in all kinds of different situations including, leaving care, Children at risk, family placement as well as others for this you will need to be able to demonstrate flexibility and innovation in order to meet deadlines and targets. You will need an eye for creativity when helping plan and create care plans and packages to suite a wide audience whilst being self person centred. You will need to be able to produce well written reports and assessments for both simple and complex cases where they may be needed to go in front of court of panel appearances.

Applicants will be needed to have previous experiences with dealing with children and young adults and have at least 2 years post qualifying experience. You will be required to hold a full social work qualification these are (DipSW , CQSW , CSS , Masters or BA honours).

Will need to be registered or registering with the GSCC (General Social Care Council) due to current UK laws and legislation we cannot place any one who does not have this.

The ability to apply for an enhanced CRB check

This is initially a permanent position. The pay rate has been set at £29,000 per year, not including the various expenses
