Our client is looking for a social work Team Managers and Assistant Team Managers to join their Looked After Children Team.

This is your chance to not only contribute to the welfare of some of the most vulnerable people in society- but also to influence and improve an important local organisation. Our client has recently completed a restructuring programme in which they have highlighted several key areas where they can improve their service.

They are looking for dynamic, forward thinking professionals to lead and manage their Looked After Children Service. You will take on principles outlined in the new Green Paper for children in care, and use them to drive the services forward, ensuring all along all along that the statutory functions are met. You will also responsible for managing the three practice managers and be accountable for the overall performance of the service area. More than anything you will be helping develop the kind of social care services that children deserve.

A registered social worker with substantial management experience within children’s social care services, you will need to be committed to delivery of excellence and be ambitious for their children, their service and yourself. 

These are permanent positions and have negotiable pay rates.
