Our client is looking for a clear thinking senior practitioner who is able to work in their youth offending team.

Applicants are invited to join our client’s service, successfully established for a long time. The Service was the subject of a recent inspection and received very positive report.

You’ll be joining an enthusiastic and innovative team, committed to delivering high quality interventions to prevent offending and to improve the lives of young people, their families and their communities.

Due to the promotion of the current post holder, our client is seeking and enthusiastic and experience professional to take on this very important role within the service. As well as managing people, you’ll be responsible for the supervision of a small number of unqualified works. With at least two years experience of working in a YOS setting, you’ll have progressed beyond the qualification bar and be in possession of a registration with the General Social Care Council, or in the process of doing so. You will also need to be able to apply for a CRB disclosure.

There are open for negotiation as far as working hours and flexibility goes.

This is a 25 Week contract position with a set pay of £23.40 per hour not including expenses.
