Our client is currently seeking a hard working and well organised social worker to fill a vacancy in their Crisis resolution and Home Treatment team. Our clients are aiming to provide a rapid and effective service to the mental health users experience crisis in the community, the team works with users and carers to provide an alternative to hospital admission.

Applicants will need a strong sense of professional identity and sound professional skills to work effectively within a multi disciplinary environment. Experience of working with people who experience mental health difficulties is very relevant and a ability to work as part of a team essential. It would be advantageous if you are a ASW or are willing to undertake training for this role.

A qualified social worker, preferably with experience in a relevant field of care, you will be able to establish good working relationships while working under pressure. Newly qualified social workers are expected to participate in preparation for post qualifying awards as part of their continuing professional development. Applicants will be required to have a CRB check and be registered or registering with the GSCC (General Social Care Council).

This is initially a 31 Week contract position which is available to start straight away, but there is possibility for extension and even permanence depending on progress of the employee. The pay rate has been set at £20.94 per hour, not including the various expenses.
