Our clients are looking to appoint a hardworking and dynamic social worker to join their ever expanding vulnerable adult’s team. In this team you will be working with a group of social workers all providing the best for service for service users.

You will support the delivery of services in accordance with directorate principles and procedures and assist the team manager in service development, supervision of staff and management of the team. You will be required to take on a small but challenging case load. And create and develop innovative and dynamic self centred care plans to enable service users to get the most out of life. You will be expected to liaise with outside authorities such as the local police and health establishments and complete paperwork effectively and to strict deadlines for court appearances.

Applicants will need to hold a professional qualification in social work. And be able to demonstrate extensive knowledge and experience of working with vulnerable adults in a social work role. You will need to be committed to working within the multi agency environment of social care and have comprehensive knowledge of the applicable legislation framework related to adult’s services. You will have a knowledge of social work practise and able to show the skills to develop and support the practise. All applicants must be registered with the General Social Care Council due to the current laws within the United Kingdom.

Posts are subject to a CRB check.

This is initially a 11 Month contract position which is available to start straight away, but there is possibility for extension and even permanence depending on progress of the employee. The pay rate has been set at £22.50 per hour, not including the various expenses.
