Our client is looking for a qualified Senior Social Work Practitioner to join their Referral and Assessment Team.

You will assist the Team Manager in prioritising and planning for the range of services provided by the team. Your role will include managing a duty system supervising qualified and unqualified employees and acting as a resource for employees who are working on complex section 47 cases. You will have a minimum of three years’ post qualifying experience of working with children in a statutory environment.

You’re first hand knowledge of carrying out assessments of need and risk will be matched by your ability to relate theory to practice together with your skills in time and workload management. This is a key role in the referral and assessment team and can be demanding but also rewarding.

This is a 6 month contract position which has a set pay rate of £26.00 per hour not including the various expenses.
